Bolivian prison children are seriously disadvantaged through no fault of their own.

It is customary for young children to live in a Bolivian prison with their father if their mother or another family member cannot care for them.

After the age of 6 they are supposed to leave. Most don't.

In 2012 for the first time we funded a project to take Christmas presents to the 150 children under 6 (this includes babies) who live with their dads in terrible conditions in San Pedro prison in La Paz.

With the help of Ivan Nogales and 6 of his clowns, this was a huge success.

This year we will continue to support the work of Barbara Magalotti in the prison by providing money for her and her helpers to make a Chocolatada fiesta for all the 350 children living in the jail.

Funds raised over our 5000 euro target will be donated towards the provision of educational materials for the school.
